Strong Beginnings
Supporting Foundations that Work with Chicago's Youth
At Aforé, we believe in supporting beginnings. Early prevention, continual maintenance, and supportive formulas for the skin help ensure it will age gracefully and stay beautiful for many years to come. This belief extends beyond skincare. It is our belief that one of the most profound ways to improve a community’s future is to provide it support from the very beginning. It’s for this reason that we have partnered with the Common Ground Foundation and the Few Initiative for Children to support the future of Chicago’s inner-city youth.
Both the Common Ground Foundation and the Few Initiative for Children provide mentorship, opportunities, and programs to inner-city youth in order to assist them on a path to greater success and influence throughout their communities. The Common Ground Foundation was founded by Academy Award Winning Artist, Actor, and Author Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., known as “Common”. The Common Ground Foundation helps inner-city youth through mentoring and college preparation programs, in addition to education on healthy living, nutrition, financial literacy, character development, global impact, and social justice. The Few Initiative for Children was started by Aforé’s founder, Dr. Julius Few, to help Chicago’s youth through financial assistance for services, programs, and opportunities designed to teach communication and leadership skills and support academic efforts for life-long success.
From June 19th through June 30th, Aforé will be donating 50% of all proceeds from online sales to the Common Ground Foundation and the Few Initiative for Children, with 25% going to each charity.
We encourage all of our loyal customers and audience to consider what you can do in your own communities to help others in need.
